Our San Francisco-based team is working around the clock to help make Weebly better for you day-in and day-out, and we love to hear your feedback on what we should focus on next.

To help us prioritize our list of a million ideas, the newest member of the team, Steve, built us a new feature request board in his first week at Weebly. It not only looks and acts quite a bit nicer than the old one, but it also helps us determine which features are most requested by different types of users -- like Pro users, so that we can send those to the top of the pack.

Have a special feature that you'd love to see in Weebly? Go and vote now! We'll be actively working off of that list to decide our roadmap.

Cool idea and I like the way it's set out. It's so good having your website in the hands of a company which asks its users what they want and listens to the answers - now, if only the Weebly team could take over eBay . . . .

Great idea and could I just mention that a 3 column element (one of the suggestions on which we can vote) can easily be achieved by dropping a two column element inside another two column element, and adjusting the column width with the drag handles (make one as narrow as possible to effectively remove it).

Hi Weebly, have voted and suggested. Very happy with the product, extremly happy with the price. My site is page one position 3 and is weebly 100%

running my site www.guestsmartialarts.com.au thru alexia its does come in a bit slow for load time. Not sure if thats mme or weebly. Would love a bit of tweaking in that area if you can.

On the "Completed" tab there is an entry for a Vertical Line, but I can't find that anywhere in the tools. I emailed Weebly last week with that request and was told I should upload an image of a vertical line, but since it is listed on the "Completed" tab with other things that have been recently implemented, will it be available soon? I hope so!

Although I would like to remind not to forget optimization for IE9 which is soon going to be mandatory for Windows.
So far the site I've built lost lots of its features when being watch in IE9!

I too am waiting for the vertical line which will make my site much cleaner looking and more organised. features board says it is completed but I can't find it either.
Things like boxes, tables and more column options would make my site much more attractive.

"Email newsletter feature" is currently number 2. Haven't people head of other email marketing solutions??!

I doubt it would be worth Weebly entering into this market space. I reckon it would be better to be the leader in hosted web building and building features around this rather then try and be everything to everyone. If people seariously want an "Email newsletter feature" then they should do a Google search.

I am a huge fan of Weebly and I agree that it would be nice to have a forum for all of us Weebolitas to hang in. I am a forum mod for a large golf forum.

I could temporarily open a forum at Lefora until Weebly can get the resources to do it themselves. Email me with the forum sections you would like to see in it. Please do not spam my Email, konaexpress(at)att.net After Weebly wraps their head around this I will shut it down so that they can have their own support forum.

I've been a member for a few years now and I really love the fact that weebly only continues to get better. Having said that, though, there are 2 bugs I'd like to see fixed before weebly adds new features.

1) Fix the bug that forces members to have their .gif files hosted by an outside source. My .gif animations only play as a background right now through weebly and really bothers me. As a graphic designer I want my visitors to stay on my site, not venture off to another.

2) My weebly editor crashes daily. I don't know if it's due to high traffic or not, but it is extremely aggravating.

For those requesting more than 2 columns, all you have to do is place 2 column templates within each other to get as many columns as you want. I regularly have 3 and 4 column layouts.

As a UK-based Weebly tutor, I'd say my students and clients ask most for templates to be adapted. So I'd like to see a way of widening them, changing the colours and wallpaper without getting into the html and css. There are commercial templates starting to appear for Weebly too - perhaps you could start a marketplace?

Personally, I'd like to see a way of highlighting a paragraph element with shading behind (preferably with rounded corners).

I'd also like to see the incorrectly named 'Paragraph with Picture' element renamed 'Paragraph with Picture and Title' and a new element made available that has just 'Paragraph and Picture', i.e. without the title.

Otherwise, Weebly is fantastic and I can't imagine life without it! It's made designing websites a pleasure once more.

... oh, and it would be amazing if the ecommerce facility could allow for different postage rates, a shopping basket and other features you get with ecommerce software, but I realise I might have to wait some time for that :-)

Love it. I actually got motivated to start doing some small tut videos when I saw some of the requests on the list.

I would like to see more than 3rd party apps. Weebly would like us to go pro, I understand this, but why am I going to go pro and then pay other sites to get the features I want? Like forums, polls, and that horrible Google mail. What will it take to get this and other features, $5,$7,$10 a month? Tell us. So far Weebly is the best but others are coming up fast. Could Weebly make more than 1 pro level of pay and features?

Why doesn't Weebly add video clip hosting, so it's users can build a video channel into their website.

Chat for your website- my solution
I saw that one of the ideas was to add chat to the website.
I figured a way to embedd free and great chat to one of my websites
:
1-Create a chat room in www.tinychat.com ( prefer to create FREE account)
2-Copy the name of the chat
3- Paste the name here http://tinychat.com/embedmaker.html?room=trees
4- Copy the HTML and add it to the HTML box
Now you have a fully functional chat- audio and video

Thank you for providing a site that is easy to use, and functional for a small endeavor like ours.

We are an HOA with 128 homes that are owned mostly by the above 60 generation. Many don't know how to do anything but email.

Providing them with a place they can go to read what is happening in their community is helpful.

And best of all, for a little community like ours, it is free.

I would love to be able to password protect individual pages with different passwords - that would be fantastic! I've already voted for this so I hope it's in your wonderful new features coming soon :)

i believe y'all should make the site available to people using the iphone. I'm always away from the computer and with havin my iPhone, it would be much easier to be able to access my website and edit on the go. Is there anything you guys could do? Weebly is great. Although my first few websites were done on webs.com, I eventually transferred to weebly and have been encouraging my friends to have theirs done on weebly as well. Webs.com actually has more features (I know weebly will be adding more soon) but users have more control of their pages here which I love. Keep up the great work and if anyone reading this hasn't signed up in weebly yet, sign up now!

This is great!

To be honest, the only reason I don't use Weebly exclusively is because the blog (while versatile) just doesn't compete with Wordpress' plugins or flexibility. I'd love the ability to auto-post from a news feed I set up, or use a browser based app (like Scribefire) to post to my Weebly blog when surfing the net. The ability to share stories and links to my blog via my iPad and Android is necessary for my site.

A better RSS widget would also be nice, but I can use third party software to generate the code. However, having a nice looking RSS widget to import feeds with a thumbnail on Weebly would make my life a lot easier.

Love the new voting page! What I love about weebly is: By the time I discover I really need something it is there! I can see the day will come when I need the ability to have a different password for a small number of pages. I fully trust that it will be ready by the time I need it. So far, that is how it has always worked.

And I will repeat what Robert Jackson noted above - for the 200+ who are waiting for the ability to have three columns, simply use the two column feature and place two more columns in one side and resize them. You don't have to wait for any changes.

Hi Weebly folks and users,
My web making knowledge is a preschool level, but I am amazed how such an awesome website like earthpedia.weebly.com and a fun one like www.megaworldgames.weebly.com can be made with Weebly. I am in an isolated place half-around-the-earth from you guys and find Weebly is very handy to my work. And I am sure it will be even more useful.

since you guys are looking for suggestions on what to improve, in order to make it better ...

One thing would be ... to be able to add text on the pictures, even if they are NOT the "Main" or "Front Page" Picture.

and another thing would be ... to be able to change the color tone of the picture,

for example, the picture may glow in a nice shade of blue,green,red,or purple.

Please do consider these suggestions.

But overall, Great Job you guys !!!

it would be great if the main page in a series of pages(drop down menu)could be unclickable. like the main category(header)and a series of sub-categories.

I added two suggestions, they still don't appear in the "NEWEST" tab ?..

I'll just repeat them here :

#1 - The option to personalize, or to replace textual links with icons, like "comments", "previous" and "forward" (these three being no-brainers), etc... Very important for foreign blogs, as to localize navigation.

#2 - A true Guestbook module, even if a simple but elegant one, à la Weebly, would be a bliss.

Why are people voting for more template choices? Just edit the HTML! You can make original styles yourself, rather than asking some poor guy to brainstorm more and hope that one of the new ones are suitable. Make it suitable!

Go on Design, then click on Edit HTML. If you don't understand how the HTML works, you can at least click files and replace such things as the background... Right?

I love the interface. The thing i think would excellent was to have clones of objects or groups, meaning that, by modifying one, you could modify all the other references.

For instance, in my website i have a photogallary with links to the all the other pages o each page. So, everytime I add a new page, i have to change indivudually that photogallery.

so, in the "copy to/move to" menu, you could also have a "create clone in" option.

That would be really amazing.

Nevertheless, love weebly. Gongratulations

I think that Weebly is a fantastic service, but it needs a file uploader. I use Webs for my hosting provider, only because they allow file uploading; with Webs, I can upload HTML files, images, music, videos, etc. The only thing keeping me from switching to Weebly is the lack of file uploading features. I would like to see this in the next iteration of Weebly.

Weebly is 200% better than my previous free web service (webs.com). You need to tweak a couple of things, but overall your customer service, your responsiveness to requests and improvments is outstanding. I will be here for a long time!
