As you know, we are always striving to provide the easiest and most powerful website building experience available. 

To help us better understand your needs, we've created a short survey. It shouldn't take more than a couple minutes to complete and it will really help us to prioritize our improvements going forward.

Change Recommendations - The ability to copy items/elements onto the same page. For instance, If I create a button from an image, I would like to see the ability to copy the image and formatting to the same page.

The form would not submit, but here is what I wrote.

Happened upon a website with the weebly logo.

I would like to be able to add colored boxes to the content area in which we could place text or images, or make colored columns, and be able to change our forms different colors.
I would also like to be able to add a picture slider, or have the pictures in the slider image linkable to different pages.
Lastly, I would like a more robust ecommerce/ store feature. Like the ability to add multiple options to a persons order (ex. color/ size, etc.), with the added ability of my customers being able to view their cart on the site instead of going back and forth to the paypal site.


Weebly has been a great tool in exposing my work to potential customers and the ease of use and budget friendly cost for a pro account is fantastic!

You may also use the last part as testimonial.

well, just in case:

I am 25 and I heard about Weebly from Chrome Web Store..and i still use the web app to come to weebly.com.

1) multiple administrators,
2) background change, 3) post title font change,
4) i sync my weebly blog with facebook's 'networkedblogs' app and when a post starts with photos, its publication on facebook doesn't show texts of the post, so i hope you guys can fix it (i don't know whether it is weebly's issue or fb app's though)
5) it would be very nice if you guys add a 'random' page on weebly's main page - like, users can click it and then navigate other members' blogs randomly

i tried other blog providers but i think that weebly is the best. it is easier to organise stuff and everybody says that my blog looks so professional. templets are nice and they suit the concept of my business. :)

my favorite is writing a new post. when using other blog providers, it was so annoying as i had to worry about the size of photos, and the paragraphs were ordered in an ugly way. but on weebly, i can always 'drag and drop' and my posts look quite organised. i love it.

I have had great praise from many about my site - even tho it is my first site, and I am not very good with computers,I still managed to get something done that is not too bad.

The way I look at, you get ok features for it being free or very cheap. Sure, lots could be better, but then you have to pay for it. P.S. I'm not leaving feedback because I don't want to get dumped with one of the stupid prizes.

We want a feature upgrade...not another sweepstake, survey, or random post about halloween pumpkins.

Based on 2010, you guys have an average of 7 new features PER YEAR.

Webs.com, Wix.com, and Yola.com are making us look bad. Come on David and Weebly friends...give us something to show off for you! We love Weebly...but this is getting frustrating, especially for PRO users.

We have quite a few new big features in the works that we are putting final polish on. We also release a ton more features than we announce on the blog; we only write a blog post for the big ones. So don't worry -- more features are coming very soon! (In fact, check back on Monday ;)

I don't agree with @Weebly User, as I'm sure there is a lot going on - but perhaps it would be to your benefit to have some sort of changelog? I often see the notification "Please wait while we implement some changes" so it's clear that there's stuff going on, but clearly people like @Weebly User would like to see what these changes are! I would certainly be interested too.

I love Weebly! I've used other instant website builders and nothing compares to Weebly. Others say they have free sites but Weebly ready does, and it's so much easier to use than any other company. I just wish I found you guys earlier - I wasted so much time and money with other companies. I have another site than I'm transfering to Weebly. Thank you guys for all you do!

I would love to see a rate and comment feature, like they have on webs.com For example you can create a page profiling a business and you can add this to rate it (1 to 5 stars) and add comments.

No offense, but I don't see the need to add features that I can easily get from third parties. It's very easy to install PollDaddy's 1 to 5 star rating tool and disqus's comment system.

They're both feature rich tools and require virtually no coding experience to install.

True, it's always easier when the tools are built into the website builder, but the more features weebly has to work on developing the more it will divide their attention.

If they have to continually work on improving more features, it's just going to spread out their attention and they'll have to start picking and choosing and many other features will get ignored and people will become upset if the feature they want most doesn't get worked on/improved.

Side note for everyone who wants a registration tool so people can get profiles on your site: That is such a huge project, and once weebly started working on it there would be a continual flow of feature improvement requests within the registration system.

If you want a site with user profiles, you really should use a dedicated tool for that site, such as Ning or Spruz. You use different web builders for different types of websites.

If you truly want a member registration system on your Weebly site, then use a third party tool like PoppyDog's registration system. It's pretty easy to set up and works well with Weebly sites.

Without Weebly our website wouldn't exist - I had NO experience with creating a website and initially tried to do it with Wordpress (which had me in tears it was so frustrating- like pulling teeth!), and I have to say that after it was all said and done; we are pretty darn proud of how the site has turned out using Weebly (it was SO EASY!) - our site is massive, comprehensive and in the 5 months since we went "live" we have had 581,592 page views!!! WOWSA- never expected that from a little old fan club group!! I think anyone would call that a success! Its still a work in progress, of course, but we have received tons of positive feedback on how much people are loving our website! You can see some of our feedback located here: http://www.alfflove.com/sharing-the-love.html That is ALL thanks to Weebly - without the awesomeness that is YOU, we would not be here to have gotten all those kudos!

So, on to suggestions:
I would LOVE to see an option to have borders around the elements (like you have around the pictures)with a size and color option, as sometimes the areas can look a little messy without vertical divider lines. Would also like to have the option to rotate images on the page (like in the header image); option to add an element to ALL of your pages and designate top or bottom of page it will be copied to) more font options; option to set margins on the top and bottom of HTML elements; more page divider options (thicker and colors!; a visitor viewable guestbook (like how the blog comments are set up - so we could approve them before they go "live"); wider pages: even the wide pages in the design section leave so much empty space-just seems like a waste of real estate. Options to change the background color of some of the design layouts- some are great but I need a white page due to some of my images not always having a clear background so the dark ones are immediately off the table. Being able to use one page design layout but have the bottom or top off another (love the sky on the sides of the one and the grass on the bottom of the page from another, but my header is perfect as is..... but I have to have a orange stripe on the bottom which is not all that attractive) Maybe it already exists (apologies if it does) but some more info on site development (coding) for things like a scrolling marquee (have one, but took forever to figure it out) or how to insert the code so you can link to a part of a page (many of our pages are really long, so that would be really great to be able to setup links in that way (I know there is a way to do it, but again- total dummy with most stuff) (points at self) lol - an option to put the code in that prevents people right clicking to save images from your site to just certain pages and not the whole site (I know they can still print screen and save images); more info on the "manage page" section for the Meta Keywords, Footer Code, and Header Code areas and what people should be doing for those things....

Extremely happy with Weebly. My 6 sites were all transfered from an outside host to wix.com, where our traffic went down drastically. I moved everything over to weebly, and we have never seen higher rankings!!! the SEO works quite well, though I wish there were some SEO options available for the Blog pages. Thank you Weebly!!

A Hidden visitor counter tool would be great - since we lose the stats at the start of each new month :( I know we can embed a visitor counter but it would be nice if it came from Weebly. Actually statistics would be an excellent thing to be able to have archived, although we print them out and keep them I'd like to be able to access them online and see trends etc.

I'd also love it if the stats had an average for the month showing somewhere.

Weebly is utterly wonderful anyway :)

I heard about Weebly through another beauty guru from YouTuber, whom had used Weebly for her ecommerce business.

1. I would like to have more flexibility in terms of design for the blog or offer a platform of some type so we can directly incorporate outside blog hosts (i.e. blogger, wordpress onto the website itself)
2. More new designs consistently
3. More features for pro users vs. those of the non-pros (i.e. featured designs especially)
4. I think it'd be great if you can have a section of where others use weebly as their host and the type of websites they create (other than the featured site -because it goes away after a couple of days) or even a compilation of all your featured sites
5.A couple of flash widgets

I sincerely am very grateful for Weebly because you guys make the process of making a website that much easier. I love the drag and drop interface because it gives us more control and flexibility in terms of content and design for those of us who are unable to do coding. However, I'd love to see more features in the future, well of course you guys have constantly been working on those! (Thanks Weebly!)

I love Weebly because there are not many hosts out there who can help non-html users create a website so instantaneously, yet professional at the same time. For me, I am very visual base and constantly likes to change my website around to attract new customers and to make the website more exciting and that's why I came to Wix. Although wix is great for flash but it does not offer as much as Weebly does. Weebly offers great features that anyone can use and constantly tries to improve itself for the better use of its customers. I can't say that about too many of the other hosts I've tried, and especially, great pricing for the Pro Users!

Can we get paypal intergrated forms? Customers fill out forms with multiple options - price changes with options - they click submit and are taken to paypal.

This would come in real handy instead of paying a third party form maker for this option.

I already filled in the survey, but thought of something I would LOVE to see implemented, which having linking ability on the top header image. I have used this as the logo for the company and it just makes sense for users to click it to return to the home page. I have always hated that I cannot do this.

Another I Love Weebly person here.

I had no trouble with the survey but will publicy say that I'm also a 10 with recommending Weebly. Like some others have said, I had absolutely zero experience with making a website so when a friend told me about Weebly and I had a play around, I was so impressed I had no hesitation buying the premium service.

My only wish list item would be that I would love to be able to edit the background colours a bit easier. As it is, I have only managed to make the entire thing a pale blue but I would like to be able to make different areas different colours.

Other than that, it's brilliant. Please keep up the great work. Oh, and the support I've received has always been excellent: friendly and professional.

I been a part of weebly for around 4 years now and think it is great and will always tell a friend that wants a easy way to have a website up and running.

I would like to see more drag and drop options to make it more viral.

Also I was wondering about maybe some templates for fan pages on facebook since they went to the new iframe coding it is possible to have your site link to it but only in the width of 520 pixcils just was a thought and think it would be a cool feature to have on weebly to be able to do even if it is offered as a pro feature.

But anyways keep up the great work!

The best website builder ever! This is from someone who has been using wix and 000webhost.

I only find it strange that some very obvious and easy to make features are not there - like insertng a table and changing the background color.

One proposal for a new feature: make a page shortcuts table in the bottom of the pages (every big site has one). This can be added automatically on all the pages. I made one (on a white background and I had to copy it page by page).

And one more suggestion that I forgot to mention in the survey: I cannot insert a picture above the menu on the top of the page - just text. Usually the first thing you see on a webpage is the logo and I can not insert it.

Bottom line, Weebly is almost perfect and I am staying here for good because I see that it is improving.

Weebly, please consider adding separate meta description for each blog post.

Right now every single post, even if I had HUNDREDS of them, would have the SAME meta description (which you enter for the page). This is really bad for Google since in search results every post will display the same excerpt :(

Optimal solution:

When you're in the blog index, meta description is what you entered in the page meta description in settings.

When you're viewing a single blog POST, meta description is the first 200 characters of the post.

Do this and I promise to love you forever :)

I'm slowly making my way around my site. I feel it's still rough and I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing. And I'm open to suggestions. But I'm SO glad that Weebly is in existance!! I find that being a Pro member helps me get a response sooner. And everyone is SO nice. But as I suggested in an email, is there any way to develop a FORUM so that I can toss out a question that someone more technically adept than me can answer easily? So much of this stuff is a given for most people. I needed my teenager to help me figure out how to make a link "hot." And I have no idea how to get people to follow me! Many thanks, Laura

True Drag and Drop functionality of any element on any page at any time to any place I want to put it. Think of it as drawing on a piece of paper or even putting a scrap book together.

I would also like to see a comprehensive theme editor

The ability to subscribe to a comment chain and receive e-mails. Would need the ability to see who subscribed. This would make blog conversations much more dynamic and give the feeling of community interaction.

I'm very happy with Weebly. It's a great tool.
If I could improve one or two things, I would think of:
- being able to duplicate your website, in order to test some changes on it while keeping an original in case you mess everything up.
- being able to download back the pictures updload in the photo galleries of simple photo.
That would be very useful.

Great tool in general. Very practical and easy/fast learning curve on how to use weebly. Fantastic job guys! Some add-ons can be easily integrated with widgets (see some examples on our website), others require more knowledge or having to go into htmlt code, etc to get it done properly. Therefore, some pointers for future upgrades which could further enhance quality and look and feel of websites created with weebly:

-possibility to insert tables and choose format (rounded corners, borders, colors, position, etc)
-possibility to set up login and register function for content you would want to make visible only to members or restricted users
-possibility to resize custom html by dragging right corner up or down
-possibility to choose background colors for titles or content (paragraph)
-possibility to choose colors for linked text within content
-possibility to increase size of YouTube movies (go full screen buttons on bottom right)

good to hear good comments but I have had lots of problems with the building of the site and has taken 6 weeks thereabouts.......it seems easy and is but I keep losing pages.....anyone out there had this problem..I know I didn't make a mistake as I have had lots of practice doing this now due to some mistakes I did make.....its an easy tool and I do like it but the problem I mentioned is very frustrating and is holding me up to publishing...thanks

Guys, thanks for making it affordable and easy for people who want or need to create a professional website to do so. If this was your obejctive you have achieved it. I have had Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue and creating my free website has allowed me to option to start up a business until I make money and afford the Pro version (which I will definitely be doing).

I believe that fixing bugs and continuing to improve your service is very important - but from what I have read it is important to Weebly as well.

The most important thing and something which you can differentiate yourselves from others in the world today is customer service - a lot of businesses these days seem to be in business for themselves instead of putting their energy into quality products and service which automatically (along with marketing!) will generate customers and turn them into ongoing clients.

I have had very good service and I love your product and if you keep up the good work - will continue to love your product.

Having just built my first weebly web site
for my amateur writers group I can definitely say it is fantastic. It was easy to understand and build. I did have one small problem that weebly sorted for me within a few hours so I was totally satisfied the quick response. I would like to see more font types and different colour backgrounds, this is not complaint, just a suggestion. Thank's Weebly.

I haven't taken time to read all the above comments so if this is a repeat, I'm sorry. You guys are the best do-it-yourself website creators that I was able to find and by a good margin. Everything was easy to understand and making my TWO sites was a blast. Now here comes the but... The section that links the website to google was overly complex and I just didn't understand what it wanted. Sorry. And the second is that when I try to edit the "Comment" box, the screen closes in and frames it cutting off about a quarter of the the entry boxes on either side of the screen. I cannot put up a "pull down" box because I can't see it to edit it. I can't pull it over into the open window because it springs back into place. I can't center the fields because there is no tweek box above to adjust it like with the text boxes. Fix those two things and no webhosting site will beat you.
