When creating your website with Weebly, you shouldn't have to worry about creating a separate version for mobile phones. Your visitors' experience should be amazing no matter the size of the screen they are viewing your website on.

For that reason, we're getting ready to automatically create a version of your website optimized for a mobile experience. But before we release it to everyone, we need your help to make sure everything is working just right.
To see the mobile version of your website we've created, just visit yoursite.com/mobile on your mobile phone. So, for this blog, that would be http://blog.weebly.com/mobile.

We're looking for any and all feedback on what works, what looks good, and what doesn't. If you have any feedback, just email us at beta@weebly.com.

Once we're confident that everything is ready, we'll make it so that your visitors see this version automatically when they visit your site, instead of having to visit /mobile/.

As always, we really appreciate your feedback and support!

I can't wait for this to work it will be awesome.
Really looking forward to seeing what you've done with viewing the slideshow on the mobile.

Hey Andrew,

You can check out what your site will look like now by visiting http://www.cuffphotography.com/mobile/ on your smart phone.

Feel free to let us know what you think by emailing beta@weebly.com

11/17/2010 1:07am

Its just like a fresh breath.I was waiting since long time for this feature.
Kindly tell me that is that mean my site will also be supported with older versions of browsers in a new fashion?

11/17/2010 2:11am

On my mobile I'm not getting background colour - so the pale text, which looks fine on the PC - is lost as it is appearing on a white background on my BB.

11/17/2010 2:15am

Great work !!

11/17/2010 2:30am

Nice work!! I was actually searching for different websites that provide this facility but good that weebly itself cam e up!! I'm really excited about this

11/17/2010 2:30am

Hi Fiona,

Thanks! That is exactly the kind of feedback we're looking for.

11/17/2010 3:09am

This is fantastic. Have just taken a quick tour of my site and apart from a few small points which I'll report to your beta feedback, it looks perfect. And it really does a good job of feeling like a mobile app (I'm looking on an iPod touch). Great job guys! What a masterstroke. Thanks.

11/17/2010 4:24am

I really like this function.
But I bought a Pro account, and now underneath there stands: Powered by Weebly!!!!
That's not where I paid for!

11/17/2010 4:40am

My site looks very good on my Sony-Ericson Vivaz.
The slideshows are gorgeous !

But for the music I have on the slideshow pages, it says "file not found".

And my video clips (hosted on Youtube) do not show up at all.

Hope this helps.

11/17/2010 5:21am

Just wanna say 'I LOVE WEEBLY', I looks beautiful on iPad. Are you releasing an iPad app which we can update our blog on the go? Weebly will become stickiest with it. ☺

11/17/2010 6:00am

The mobile version is what is showing now when people visit my site.

11/17/2010 6:25am

Absolutely the best thing since the automatic slideshow!!

Would be nice to carry background colour to mobile version.

Very happy!

11/17/2010 6:43am

Looks AWESOME! One request- can you move the mobile vs. full site button to the top? For those of us who have a lot of content, people have to scroll a LONG way down to understand it's a mobile site.

11/17/2010 6:43am

Looks great although embedded html doesn't render too well (e.g. an embedded flickr slideshow).

Next step with this should be an android app so I can write and post blog entries on the go!

11/17/2010 7:39am

My site does not display right. It doesn't have the menu option at the top. I am using a BlackBerry browser too. Would that have something to do with it.

11/17/2010 7:54am

you can automatic show the mobile on iphone or ipad when adding this in your <head> section of your start page or layout:

--

if((navigator.userAgent.match(/iPhone/i)) || (navigator.userAgent.match(/iPod/i)) || (navigator.userAgent.match(/iPad/i)))
{location.replace("/mobile/");}

if((navigator.appVersion.indexOf("Windows CE")>0))
{location.replace("/mobile/");}

Nice so glad to see this, is weebly getting into the drag and drop app maker next, that is a sure fire way for you guys to expand and grow, apps is where it's at now

11/17/2010 8:00am

Hey Guys,

I thinks its great that this is being put it.. although my site does not look good. My company is a fine art company. I render my website a couple weeks ago so that the names would appear clear below the pictures on a mobile phone. Now when you look at our artists paintings, the picture are displayed then the names as a list. It doesn't look as good. Is there anyway we can edit the mobile site?

11/17/2010 9:23am

This is a great feature.

Just Check out:

http://lakshaygoel.weebly.com/

11/17/2010 9:53am

Love the concept and simplicity of it. Thank you.

Phone: iPhone 3Gs
Feedback:
I'm guessing since my home page uses the divider, that is why the picture is off set, however also since there is no background I have white text which is now invisible. Until you get to my first "in text" link. After that(the link is blue) then all the text goes back to black. So it seems like my website just has a picture and a mid sentence starting paragraph. It looks great though. I'm sure you'll find a way to make it look smoother.

Do you think it is because I use a different site to host the actual domain and you guys for the editing? Also I am typing this as I think it, so sorry about the grammar errors/spelling errors.

11/17/2010 10:30am

This is great, I too am using a blackberry and the Nav bar doesn't seem to appear. Very cool though look forward to promoting on my site.

11/17/2010 10:43am

Why is not my page no longer show as usual, but the mobile version only? The other thing - why mobile settings can not remove the tick from the box?

11/17/2010 10:50am

Found it not to add / mobile / behind the website address, otherwise Mozilla shows only a mobile version ... Why is it, do not know ...

11/17/2010 11:24am

The site design I chose has a dark back ground as a result the text appears very light on the mobile screen (which doesn't show the dark back ground). if you could make the mobile back ground dark as well that would be awesome thanks!

Scott
11/17/2010 11:25am

I agree, I have a the pro version, so the final mobile release should not say "powered by weebly" at the bottom.

11/17/2010 11:52am

My site looks really great in the mobile version and seems to load faster as well compared to before. My blog page has a bunch of youtube videos that work well on my phone. However, audio files don't seem to play with either the embedded html/xml player I'm using nor the audio player that comes with the Pro account. I like the idea someone had about moving the mobile/full site button to the top as well... Thanks. Weebly rules!

11/17/2010 12:09pm

This is really great, I am sure that it will help drive up traffic volumes. But, I wonder if the Adsense still works?
Thanks Weebly!

11/17/2010 12:15pm

Great idea, it will be awesome because now the site will be easily accessible from anywhere.

Does that adsense still work on the mobile?

11/17/2010 1:17pm

Hello everybody,
I've got Iphone 3gs and on display pictures are off set and the menu button doesn't work.
Thanks

11/17/2010 1:19pm

will i auto sense to browser to adjust to mobile device ?

11/17/2010 1:22pm

I just checked out my site and really like the way the "menu" works with different pages.

This is from an ipod touch with safari: it seems that my black background is appearing as white on the mobile version. Also, on my clothing items the sizing buttons are not lining up correctly with my shirt photos and the checkout button isn't there.

Its the same from my Android 2.2 device browser.

I think this is a fantastic concept and I am excited to see the progression. Currently, my clients can use google checkout on their mobile device with the "full site" and I hope that functionality will be available in the mobile version.

Thanks!!

11/17/2010 1:25pm

When I look at my site on my iphone, I find that on the homepage (which is a blog) the first video covers the menu. Plus there is no side bar.

11/17/2010 1:36pm

Wow! I just tried this out on my iPod Touch to view my web comic and it's great!
You can't see anything on the sidebar when you're looking at a blog section or your fancy header, but they're not that important.

Andreas
11/17/2010 1:39pm

Do LOVE it!!! Thanks

11/17/2010 1:57pm

While I applaud your efforts and constant innovation, I will be the skunk at the picnic and say that I believe this is misguided.

The purpose of a mobile website is totally different that that of a PC website. The user experience is totally different and the content for one should not be the same as the other. A person accessing the web on a mobile device has very different needs in terms of content (user is on the go an wants minimal info) and capabilities (small screen), and thus the content on a mobile site should be MUCH leaner, with a minimum of graphics, video etc.

A person accessing a website from a PC is sitting at a desk with a large monitor capable of rendering flash video etc. An iPhone can't even display Flash, and smartphone users only represent about 15-20% of the total mobile market.

Also, Google uses a totally different algorithm for accessing mobile sites than PC sites meaning SEO is also different. There is much more to having an effective mobile website than making a PC site render graphically on a mobile device.

11/17/2010 2:13pm

thank u weebly finally :D i was waiting for this

11/17/2010 2:21pm

I like the simple layout on the home page, however when you go to the menu and click a link to another page it automatically reverts back to the full site. This defeats the purpose if on every page you have to manually type /mobile at the end of the address. Is there a way to have it stay on the mobile version if you are clicking a link from a mobile page?

Not sure if the issue is because I use the iPhone 3GS.

Kylie
www.sucrosefreeliving.com

11/17/2010 2:28pm

@ Reg Of course it is important. The whole idea of a website working on a mobile/smartphone is that the user can experience and access everything that is on offer. I don't have a fancy header either!

Brent
11/17/2010 2:54pm

I really hope that one day, they will release a app that helps you build your website on your phone. OR something along those lines...

That's the future that weebly should participate in.

11/17/2010 2:54pm

Oh Thank You soo much Weebly. I've always wanted something like this, but wasn't quite sure how to go about doing. And now it's gonna be automatic! Can't wait!

11/17/2010 3:35pm

Weebly is simply THE best!

Thank you!

11/17/2010 3:40pm

Wallpapers didnt load so, white text cant be read.

I have my homepage in 2 columns and the alignment isnt quite right. things that are next to each other ar appearing at oppositte pages of the screen

Pete

11/17/2010 3:43pm

Wow! That is super cool! Oh and I heard a new delete sign was put up and you can make your pics bigger! Anyways you always know what to do next!

http://www.Randomthingyz.weebly.com!

11/17/2010 4:16pm

Works great, but everything seems a little bit blurry.

11/17/2010 4:36pm

Wow, this is great, I just checked my site and it looks really good. I use a lot of slide shows and galleries and these work well.

Thank you - can't wait for it to go live.

Ryan
11/17/2010 4:47pm

Isn't the point of modern mobile web browsers that render the page fully, is so you don't need to have a "mobile" version of your website?

I understand that sometimes it is nice option, however, will I be able to turn off this feature in the settings?

11/17/2010 4:50pm

Wow, amazing, i really like it and can't wait to work on it. Thanks weebly

Mark
11/17/2010 5:21pm

Looks great!

It does not seem to work with certain embeddable features.(which I realize is not your fault).
Google "timeline" from google docs does not slide.
Google "spreadsheet" cropped is not able to navigate.
"Slideshare" presentations appear blank.
Google "calender" appears as a cropped with no navigation.
"prezi" embeddable presentation does not appear.
Zoho sheets does not appear.
Videos from TED.com do not appear.
Some shifts in items from tables, but I think this is due to alignment???

Will there be an option to remove the "powered by weebly" at the bottom for pro users?

Twitter,Facebook, and Feedzilla all appear and look great.

I like it! My other sites work extremely well thought since they are not as widget based.

Thank you!

11/17/2010 5:46pm

it works and click on my name to go to a website FULL of addicting games, and AWESOME blogs created by ME!

11/17/2010 8:06pm

My mobile version shows a big "Menu" button, which does nothing when tapped.

Gary
www.finewatergems.com

11/17/2010 9:23pm

This is a great idea! On my cell phone, however, I can't see the page links unless you go looking for a spot where the arrow changes into a hand (i dont know if that makes sense) and click down which finally then shows the black bar!

11/17/2010 10:11pm

Seems to work very well already...but I do wish that there will be some customizing options in the future. Great job nonetheless!

11/17/2010 11:02pm

The menu buttons don't show up on the top of the mobile site and the colors don't come out. But I am loving that there is a mobile version of the site coming!

11/17/2010 11:19pm

So glad to see this update! Looks great! Thanks so much!

11/18/2010 12:48am

Fantastic job, guys. My site (www.family-secrets.net) looks good on the mobile version. I have a few issues with graphic and text alignment, but that's more due to my layout, rather than the conversion to mobile.

11/18/2010 1:57am

So far my site title look a little odd, because the background is white and the title is also white with a drop shadow or something, but is ok, maybe a dark grey would be nice, but my site is a modified template and maybe it's messed-up, but anyway it look very good on mobile

11/18/2010 3:02am

Wow..awesome..thankyou..simply great!

11/18/2010 3:48am

Using samsung Omnia I900, internet explorer mobile. Home loads without the menu's (no letters no links) Only big square with nothing to click on.
Using Opera Mobile this "menu" is there and can be clicked, menu's show up and can also be clicked, photo's show up.
Also the layout in Opera is much better then in IE.

Greetz and go on with this good site,
Eugene

11/18/2010 6:36am

Hi, i just viewed my mobile website on my Blackberry (www.stgeorgespark.weebly.com/mobile). The navigation bar is invisible? (i found it by chance hovering over it?)and a couple of the pictures have been resized and 'stretched'. When these are resolved it will look great. Nice feature.

LOEG
11/18/2010 6:41am

This mobile version is good the only problem is the swf files cannot be viewed.

11/18/2010 7:16am

I am in the process of moving my Blog from Blogger to Weebly. I was planning to simply link to a wordpress blog for the mobile layout, but now that you are using one too I can skip that whole hassle! Thanks Weebly!

Confused User
11/18/2010 8:53am

I was trying to log in and the system was down. And now that I was able to log in, all the website stats are gone!

Hopefully you guys are just reseting one of the servers...but if not, this is very baddddd!

teckogami
11/18/2010 9:10am

I can't wait for this to come out. Wait. Has it?

11/18/2010 9:27am

I have the same issue as Confused User. The stats are all reset back to zero dating back to the time of launch date. Hopefully this problem is resolved.

Dave
11/18/2010 12:23pm

I Love it but Weebly what about your blog fans we need more Blog features!!

Andreas
11/18/2010 12:51pm

My site looks good on my Blackberry using Opera, but BB Browser...not so much (but that's pretty much part for the course for BB browser anyway).

11/18/2010 1:02pm

I am drooling over the fact that you guys are going to be doing the sites automatically for mobile marketing. I was at a meeting yesterday about mobile marketing, and the numbers were ASTOUNDING! on what mobile marketing has to offer!! Thanks to you guys I now do not have to go searching around for a mobile web provider. Cannot wait for everything to be completed!

11/18/2010 1:07pm

Music players still show up on the page selection menu. Please fix. Thanks!

11/18/2010 1:32pm

The mobile site looks great on my iPod touch but i cant get to it from my blackberry for the life of me... Regardless of typing mobile or not in the address it always goes to the full site.

11/18/2010 1:46pm

AWESOME! Actually this is epic! I was looking for a server that would let me do a mobile site for DBAG FILMS, and now THIS!!! I used to love Weebly, i wanna MARRY EM! THanks dude! Hey, i checked it out, i wish that WE could edit the mobile sites. and add a heriach or whatever its called. Well, its BETA! So yeah add that.

11/18/2010 2:27pm

I LOVE the mobile! Thanks, my clients will love it as well.

11/18/2010 3:00pm

I looked at it on my Blackberry and there is large text saying "Menu Close" at the very top. There is no navigation and you only see the home page. No picture as well...Hope this helps fine tune the new mobile version for you guys!

11/18/2010 4:31pm

Looks great on my HTC - thanks!

fred
11/18/2010 4:31pm

on the mobile version the "powered by weebly" at the page bottom shouldnt be showing for us pro users, we paid for folks not to see this...please remove for pro users

11/18/2010 4:38pm

Look really good on my Droid X. I can see all the flash apps as well, great option!

Thank you weebly!!!

Matt
11/18/2010 8:13pm

Please make a separate section in the Weebly editor to edit the mobile website, just like we are able to edit the main website. That way we can customize the mobile website!

11/18/2010 9:33pm

Great news about the mobile sites for us all. I still love you guys. Thanks heaps....now I'll go check it out!

I think Matt's also got a great idea about a separate editing area for the mobile sites so we can customize......Keep up the good work.

11/18/2010 10:57pm

every thing is fine... but i want one more thing that is a separate header image for mobile site... :)

11/19/2010 12:53am

Everythings looks good,I just would like to have the original colors of my web site.

11/19/2010 3:29am

Things looks great, aside from my slideshow looking tiny, navigation is easy enough.

11/19/2010 3:56am

does it also work with free website created on weebly

11/19/2010 6:05am

This feature is fantastic and puts you once again at the forefront of being one of the best website creation services.
Seems to work well and my site looks great, well done and thank you.

11/19/2010 6:08am

What can I say.. I did make a right choice for going to weebly. they always improving their services everytime. Thank you very much

11/19/2010 7:25am

Thank you so much. Now it would be easier to get my friends and relatives to visit from their BB and smartphone.

On my PC, my mobile site maintains the information content integrity and disperses with the colors and images.

Thank you very much.
http://healthalternatives.weebly.com/mobile if anyone wants to take a look

11/19/2010 8:03am

great weebly website.blog me if you want

11/19/2010 11:19am

Works good on my site! Any chance of getting a mobile version of the editor or at least a way to post to the blogs from a phone?

11/19/2010 11:49am

Don't have any control it will go direct as weebly want some mobile editing needed much rendering much better than mobify but need more control on layout

11/19/2010 11:52am

slideshow gallery thumbnails not working

11/19/2010 12:16pm

This is great! We have many church members with web apps on their phone who have requested this. I'm glad I do not have to go outside of Weebly to provide this service to them. Thank you!!!

11/19/2010 12:29pm

wow, thanks Weebly! I would agree with a previous post, it would be great to have the mobile/full site button at the top of the page and some separate editing controls might be nice. So far I like it, looks good on LG Ally (Android 2.1).

11/19/2010 2:32pm

I can't open it with my phone because my front page has a video, poll, etc. xD

http://animelover96.weebly.com

11/19/2010 3:45pm

OMG, Weebly you have blown me away again! Around 3 months ago I sent you an email stating that you should bring out this feature and you did 10/10!

emmanuel
11/19/2010 3:57pm

Mobile Beta:
-On brothers blackberry touch -mobile site had no menu, pictures and ads look ok, text was all in black. I tried typing mysite.weebly.com/ and it had the 404 error page
-On psp the mobile look better because of the wide screen, pictures and ads were ok too, text was in color, the menu only had the text but not the button, then use the full site view, but it would'n let me go back to the mobile view.

Overall i would prefer if you guys keep the .com/mobile for user with no smart phones and .com for the ones using a smart phone to view the site in full view.
Blackberry I test is using safari

Anyhow Thanks keep up the good work, i was about to send you guys a message if you guys could add an app that does the same thing, but this is way better, thanks

11/19/2010 5:26pm

Mine rendered ok but, the two columned page rendered as one long page -- with the text in the second column (typically on the right) beneath the text in the first column -- it reads a little goofy.

The menu button is fantastic though -- really like that.

11/19/2010 7:56pm

site looks great on mobile but no one can download wallpapers from my site using a cell phone.

11/19/2010 8:25pm

Wow... love this on my mobile nice and fast and best of all UI friendly....

11/19/2010 8:56pm

It works fast. But I don't get any headers in my phone. Can't navigate using the header links due to that. Check out: http://www.exgadvisory.com/mobile

11/20/2010 4:33am

My site looks better in phone with ordinary version. I use android 2.1

11/20/2010 9:45am

Yet another reason why Weebly is far better than Googlepages or Sites. Glad I switched!

11/20/2010 2:21pm

On my BB native browser my site loses all background color and I have no menu, whereas normally I would have the full site. On the Opera browser on my BB, it is much better, I also have the option on the bottom of the page of seeing the full site or the mobile site using the Opera browser, maybe if we could have that on the top and bottom of the page.

I have to admit that I am not thrilled with the mobile site feature and hope pro users can disable it.

11/20/2010 3:52pm

Lost pretty much everything. No background, no menus, pages, text (some is there but messed up) and picture is all squished. Just so you know! But keep up the work, I'm sure it'll be great once it's all worked out!

11/20/2010 5:38pm

When I access my page I get no text color.

11/20/2010 5:48pm

Great feature. Have been waiting forever for this. Weebly you can create amazing features. Absolutely awesome. Hope to see more soon. I'll always be a big fan of Weebly.

Sammy
11/20/2010 6:07pm

It's very good, my only request is that we can edit what the mobile would look like. You know, themes. My website has some weird HTML so it looks very wierd on the mobile version.

Thomas
11/20/2010 6:30pm

Looks good, but when trying to view the mobile version from IE or a mobile IE, it says "Please use a more standards compliant browser, like Chrome, Firefox, or Safari" - i got this in IE9 Beta and Windows Phone 7 Emulator IE - which by recent test are among the most compliant browsers around. Looking good though, can't wait!

11/20/2010 7:31pm

Now that's just cool. Is an Iphone app in the works. Cause that would BE AWESOME!

11/20/2010 9:14pm

This is a great idea. I'm a bit concerned with the photo viewing on my blog though. If I click on a photo further down on the post, I have to scroll the whole way back to the top to see my photo in its pop out window. Other than that it seems great! I like the premise!

11/21/2010 1:37am

Great start.
We're an ecommerce site, and I can't help but notice only the images of my items are in view, but without the shopping cart (or Add to Cart) it doesn't do much for us.
Any thoughts there?
Thanks!!

11/21/2010 9:34am

A few months ago I was looking to create a website and I stumbled acrosse WEEBLY. It's great! I would have said so way earlier, except I've been super busy! Anyway I love this site, thank you for allowing me to do this! (=

11/21/2010 10:40am

Happy to see new developments. When I look at my site on my mobile, the header banner/image plus top navigation do not appear. Only the text and photos are visible.

Thanks for all your effort.

jon
11/21/2010 12:41pm

I actually think my site looks better in the full version but yes the mobile is fine just no images are viewable, its plain but functional.

Is that mobile one generated the moment my site is created?

11/21/2010 12:47pm

This is awesome!
Free mobile site!
I love it.
Nice job weebly...

11/21/2010 2:13pm

I love this. But i wish you guys could create an app for smart phones and ipod touches to be able to edit sites while on the go. Also it would be cool to edit the mobile site on a laptop with like a small box that pops up when you click "edit mobile site" and you could edit it in a 3.5 inch box on your screen.

11/21/2010 2:25pm

I like the feature, but don't like that sites like mine don't show up correctly with the dividers. In other words, no pictures/text can be side by side.

-Max

11/21/2010 5:29pm

That's awesome !

What phone SW will you cover(the best) ?
What should we buy ?

1) Apple (iphone & ipad)?
2) Google Android based phones ?
3) Windows 7 based phones (HTC)?

I have noticed that google chrome does not work as well as firefox does for weebly site building

I wonder how you got so good. This is really a fascinating blog, lots of stuff that I can get into. One thing I just want to say is that your Blog is so perfect!

11/22/2010 4:17am

My site looks just fine on my iphone4, great stuff!

11/22/2010 8:13am

Looks great! Any way to let mobile phones go straight to the mobile version without having to add the " .com/mobile " to the address?

11/22/2010 11:01am

I just tried it, I it was fast , great view. Glad you are getting it ready . Well done :)

I love the fact that I will be able to see my website on my mobile phone; however, links to other pages within my webpage are missing.

11/22/2010 8:22pm

Tried it out on a friend's Droid, looks amazing! Have a lot of embedded html and disappointed that none of it worked. Otherwise very impressed!!

11/22/2010 9:26pm

I just publish my site, and realize the visited, link and hover color on mobile phone are different from the actual site, is there anything I can do to fix the problem?

11/22/2010 10:46pm

I just viewed my site via my HTC Aria (Android) and it looks ok. It was unable to view the Calendar (google) and the images and graphics did not re-size properly. It looks better in web view and with these smartphones you easily zoom with your fingers almost easier.

You guys amaze me more and more each day. I was hoping something like this would come out here on Weebly. A suggestion is to allow us to edit in full what it will look like in the mobile format.

11/23/2010 4:30pm

Mine looks great. Even the slideshows look awesome! Can't wait to be able to tell my students' parents to check it out on their phone!

11/24/2010 5:24am

Hi when i did it on my blackberry, and typed in my URL, like you said with the /mobile, it just showed my home page, and I couldn't get to the other pages.

11/24/2010 5:58am

Hi,
Great new feature.
However my published (Scribd) documents do not render at all.

Jonathan

11/24/2010 10:27am

I notice that my videos and weebly user login do not show up on the mobile site.

11/24/2010 4:21pm

I like it.

Question though, I know from personal needs sometimes I prefer the desktop version of a site. Will the user who arrives at our site have the option to go with the full desktop site? I think that would be helpful.

Keep up the good work.

11/24/2010 4:23pm

Very happy, nice work

11/24/2010 11:38pm

Tried it on my iPod Touch. Shows up great. Great work, well done

11/25/2010 10:40am

Yep, just did a quick test with instantmobilizer.com and everything seems fine. Thanks!

11/25/2010 3:38pm

OMG! I can't believe this! This is a feature I can't wait for! Although, it is a bit disappointing that some layouts don't stay the same, I guess it's just going to be like that. Thanks for creating this! It looks great regardless!

11/25/2010 4:43pm

Hi Weebly,

I think this is a good feature for blogs since the rendering is usually just moving text around. Two things though:

a. I agree with a number of other comments, in that it would be awesome to be able edit the /mobile site ourselves.

b. some of the other free blog sites allow mobile uploads through an app so that blog posts can be made on the fly, will weebly be supporting similar technology in the future?

Thanks! using weebly Pro.

11/25/2010 10:27pm

Thanks! this is great. I can send my site information to my prospect immediately thru mobile.

11/25/2010 10:29pm

Weebly is getting better and better with new features. I have to let my clients know about it.
Thanks!

11/25/2010 10:38pm

This is Great!

Try it on my Window smartphone. The Video player didn't show up but the links bring me to youtube where the video can be play on.

Good work Weebly.
http://www.edvismafia.com/mobile/

well this is a good one. But I would like blog features to be added next if you can...
Thanks!

11/26/2010 6:40am

As I can see here, this will be agreat application. Kudos!

11/26/2010 9:40am

looks good guys!

11/26/2010 11:09am

Mobile site looks good. All flash and embedded vids and audio working well on Android 2.2. Great work.

11/26/2010 12:32pm

Nice work. Only main concerns is that my videos don't show up on my iPhone. Thanks!

11/26/2010 1:03pm

This is frackin' AWESOME! I was just on a educational business webinar today discussing socia media and need for mobile websites. They mentioned some subscriptions services and then a free WordPress plugin and I wondered what about Weebly and looked for "weebly mobile" and here it is!!! You guys rock!!!

2-column layout is not working it will show the first column on top of the second one and not side-by-side.

11/26/2010 7:12pm

This is awesome! I tried it with my website, and it works great! One flaw, if I may add, is that when I went to view a video on my blog and then clicked on the menu button, the video covered up the menu buttons! I hope this will be fixed. Also, it would be awesome if the color of the top menu / title bar could be changed.

Overall, this is a great new feature! Thanks, Weebly!

11/26/2010 7:19pm

That is awesome, can't wait to use it on my phone.it's cool...

11/26/2010 8:31pm

Love this feature, but for some reason, it didn't load the pictures that took people to other parts of the website... Maybe my structure is too complex?

11/26/2010 11:32pm

This site not failed to amazed me :)...the graphics design and idea was great...Keep it up and more power!

11/27/2010 6:43am

I tried it it was awsome igot it on a cell phone and a ipad go weebly!!!!

It all looks good. Thanks!

11/27/2010 6:23pm

Wonderful job. I am enjoying every feature in weebly,,, But i cannot archieve my published post at the side of my home page,,,archieve in setting page cannot help me out,,, I think that is not what iam looking for,,,,I tried but it didnt help me,,Hence you guys have any idea to do so? I would be glad to get your response.

11/28/2010 7:34pm

Weebly did it again.

Thank you so much.

Little by little, your efforts Weebly does great help to all weebly family.

You are amazing!

11/30/2010 1:28am

The Mobile website version seemed to work fine for MrDanielization.weebly.com. Thanks, I reckon my site looks pretty good in mobile version. The mobile version is user-friendly and easy to navigate. Great job Weebly.

11/30/2010 9:40am

Great idea to set up mobile sites...but the layout of my regular site does not translate very well to the mobile layout. On some of my pages I use multiple columns/boxes to organize my information in a certain way...but on the mobile site the columns and boxes are not arranged properly. Thus, some of the pages don't make any sense.

Will we have control over how the mobile version displays? At this point, I prefer to view the full site on my smartphone, not the mobile version.

11/30/2010 11:56am

This is actually a great idea since most people now consume data on mobile devices and certain sites just don't translate well to mobile devices.

12/01/2010 4:13am

Amazing. Good work!

12/01/2010 8:01am

Although I have a Droid and the full site loads rather nicely too, the mobile version is great. The buttons are nice and big and the navigation menu is flawless. Pictures in a photo gallery still display nicely and overall, it's just a great feature. Good work! Thank you!

12/01/2010 8:46am

its a great site to all

12/01/2010 9:42am

I agree, setting up something for moble would be great.

12/01/2010 12:04pm

Awesome. Ive been waiting so long for something like this, so glad to hear its finally coming out!

12/02/2010 4:48am

Nice job weebly...
Thanks

12/02/2010 5:01am

Nice Tool! But embedded documents are not shown on my i-phone.

12/02/2010 7:11am

Huh. That's neat. Thanks a lot for the good work guys!

12/02/2010 7:47am

Yoy've done a great job! I would like it if you retain the title image in mobile version (by resizing or transforming) and keeping the same background. It would give a better appereance.
Thanks.

12/02/2010 12:11pm

If you are interested in seeing just how your website will look on the iPhone 4, here's a great website:
http://iphone4simulator.com/

12/02/2010 12:42pm

Great feature. I have been waiting for such a feature and was going to start making themes myself just or mobile sites. I am sure your team is on top of this, but I hope there are a few options we will be able to have to control what the mobile web version will look like. Maybe having a smaller mobile style header for each page or something like that.

Thank you and keep up the great work!!!! Weebly ROCKS!

12/02/2010 1:05pm

i made my website and it was awesome and easy thanks for making weebly.com so that i can make my own website.whoever made weebly.com rocks

12/02/2010 5:48pm

Just tried it with my site & absolutely LOVE it! I will be passing this on to my students & Parents!

12/03/2010 9:05am

Great idea!

My mobile site(s) doesn't load in Opera (repeated time out), looks good in Skyfire and loads like a torpedoe in Dolphin (all Android).

Not so good:
– All font colors are gone.
– No toggle switch mobile/full on full site, only on mobile site.

12/03/2010 4:10pm

I was wondering why my website was doing this on my ipod today! love it!

12/05/2010 6:39pm

The only thing that isn't like I would like it is the title. It's tabbed down a line and I would like the title on one line. Other than that, looks pretty good. Now just waiting to make an icon for my iPhone.

12/06/2010 2:51am

This looks really cool. Can't wait to try it out on my blackberry!

12/06/2010 4:27pm

This works awesome now! Now folks are finding our bail bonds office easier when they're on the go. Thanks again Weebly!

12/06/2010 10:27pm

Hi Weebly! I am just wondering if you will also have an iPhone blogging app? + an iPhone app that allows us to change/update our sites?

As for feedback on the way the mobile version of the site looks - it looks great and professional!

Aloha from Hawaii, Lisa

12/06/2010 10:40pm

12/17/2010 2:11am

Hmm I must trying too, if that's work...

12/31/2010 6:47am

01/03/2011 8:03pm

u know what weebly did with making this website mobile was a really good idea.

01/04/2011 6:44pm

Viewed in my Droid, the webpage works great. No compromises. Of course the iPhone doesn't work so well because of the Flash issue.
Is there a work around this?

01/05/2011 9:31am

Can't wait for all websites to work on phones as I get frustrated when I can't view a website on my mobile.

01/11/2011 3:27am

Yoy've done a great job! I would like it if you retain the title image in mobile version (by resizing or transforming) and keeping the same background. It would give a better appereance.
Thanks.
