Advanced Site Statistics

We've been hard at work on your most requested features to make Weebly even better for you, and we're excited to release one of the top requests: more advanced site statistics!

When you click on "View Stats" next to the site title, a new window will now open up that shows many more statistics, including:

Pageviews (everyone): how many pages on your site have been viewed?
Unique visitors (everyone): how many people have viewed your site?
Top pages (pro only): what are your top pages?
Search Terms (pro only): what do people search for to get to your site?
Referring sites (pro only): what sites are your visitors coming from?

While the Top Pages, Search Terms, and Referring Sites are only available to Pro users, all Weebly users are getting upgrades: previously, only a 7-day Pageview history was available; now, all users have access to a 30-day history of both Pageviews and Unique Visitors!

You'll notice that we've only been collecting the new data for a little over a week, so it will fill out over time. Also, because of the some of the upgrades we made to the statistics system, you'll notice that some of the stats from Wednesday, February 17th may be under-reported by a bit.

As always, we're working around the clock improving Weebly for you, and have a few more excited things to announce in the next few weeks. We appreciate your support, and thanks again for using Weebly!

Thanks everyone working on Weebly. I can't even imagine how this website builder is going to be in a few years from now.

You are already advancing in record speed compared to any other hosting/website building provider i have ever seen, and you still got a free feature that is very useful.

This makes it alot easier to track where you get the visitors from.

The numbers that weebly analytics is showing are much higher than what Google Analytics is showing for my site. Has anybody else had this problem and if so, is there any way to tell which one is right?

If you're not sure if the Weebly or GA stats are right, visit your website once and check the stats for both. Whichever site tells you that your visits has gone up by one should be correct.

Also Weebly, I have an idea for a new feature. Instead of embedded videos, why not imbedded movies as well? Like if you have a movie at home (that you bought, of course), you can put it on your website? I'm not sure if that'll be like a limwire for movies, but it's worth mentioning. :)

This is another great feature Weebly! Seems nearly identical to Analytics, but it has the ease of being all in one place now.

Great Work! hahha does this mean we do not need Google analytics? The discrepancy between here and google analytics lies in the time when they start calculating the visits and pageviews. It could also lies with the definition of terms which are the main data components for statistics collection and tabulation

Weebly has helped me achieve a 20 year goal I would not have been financially and technologically capable of making otherwise. I can hardly believe how easy and literally free it was. Especially for a (gasp!) senior citizen! I can't imagine that with all that's free, people are demanding more. Upgrading to Pro was much less than I would have imagined. The responses are faster and friendlier than any service I've worked with. I feel like I have a young and sharp team on my side. Thanks Weeblies!

The big thing that's missing from the stats is a TOTAL of visitors and pageviews for the month. It would be nice to see that at a glance instead of adding up the30 days each time.

I like this feature. It looks like it is on the way to mirroring Google Analytics. Is there a way to create a notification of when a page is updated via this new feature or another one? I am charged with monitoring page content. I being familiar with RSS and Page Update and Site update providers I did not know if WEEBLY had something like this.

This is nice upgrade. I love that Weebly has (almost?) real-time statistics whereas Google Analytics has a day+ delay.

Great to see such continued developments. I compared it to my Google Analytics stats though for the same period and it seems different.
