We've just released an awesome amount of features that we've been working on, including sub-pages, a video player, a flash element, embedded documents and foreign currency support! Sub-Pages This is quite possibly the most exciting feature of this release. When editing your site's pages under the "Pages" tab, you can now drag these pages left and right to group them under other pages. This allows you to order your pages and create a page structure, so that you can create more pages and remain organized.  Once you've defined a structure, these pages will automatically be organized in a menu format -- hover over one page, and a menu drops down with its sub-pages. There is no limit to the number of pages and sub-pages you can create, so you can have the freedom to unleash your creativity! The "More" Link As part of this release, excess pages that would have previously caused the menu to overflow onto two lines will now be grouped into a "More" category. If you don't want Weebly to do that, there is an option under the "Settings" tab to disable this new functionality. New Pro FeaturesWhile we're constantly improving Weebly for everyone, we're also thinking about those of you that show us the ultimate form of support by purchasing a pro account. Two of the new features, the video player and embedded documents, are now part of Weebly Pro. Video Player  The video element allows you to upload a video directly within Weebly, and display the video in a professional, unbranded player. It's as simple as dragging on the video player and uploading a video. No need to visit any other sites and, best of all, your video will be displayed with a very professional presentation: no branding, and a simple, sleek UI. Embedded Documents  The embedded documents element lets you upload a document, such as a Word, Excel or Powerpoint file, and have it be displayed in a window on your page. Instead of forcing your visitors to download the file to view it, they can now see its contents, right from your web page! Other New Features We've also released a few other new features, such as a Flash element, that lets you upload a Flash file and have it displayed on your page, as well as foreign currency support in all e-commerce elements, which lets you choose other currencies besides US Dollars when using PayPal. Thank you, I take back my negative comment yesterday where I asked for the option of multiple drop down menus. yes it takes awhile for these updates to come out, but a lot goes into putting updates out there for us...especially for multiple users...so i'm happy it takes awhile to come out...means weebly is testing and testing to make sure all the kinks are out before releasing the updates...THANKS WEEBLY!!!! Good new features, I like the subpages and "More" OPTIONS, but decided disable the option and stick with ten "equal" toplevel pages and no subpages for now on my site. Your site is the perfect blend. I did gripe about lack of FTP, but I found a work around, I use the HTML element to code the links in myself and use picasa web to host the pictures for the albums. It works quite nicely. Since I want video to be an important part of my business, that video player will be great. And scrolling through the picture gallery was one of the reasons why I was missing FTP- now I think I can get by. 09/02/2009 1:22pm

I am no techie, but Weebly, you are the best and am proud to say that thanks to you, I am excited about my webpage...However, can you or others here chime in regarding the sub pages...does this only work for a "vertical page" as I have my items listed "on top" and certainly running out of room..and if so, how would I do this so that for example I could have another heading directly under "About us" or "Info" Thx..P. I am really surprised at how easily I put this invitation together. I was a little anxious to view it and didn't want to wait to get control of my domain name, but all and all, this is great!! Wow!!! You dudes made a great job!!! Hugs! I have been looking over this site for months now, and once I saw all the extra features as a pro user, and asking a few questions of Barbara from Weebly Support, I took the plunge. Now to see that there is a merchant section now, and more to come with that merchant section, I will be letting Weebly automatically withdraw money from my account to keep my personal website up and running most likely for the next 10 to 20 years. I have nothing but great things to say about this experience so far. The response time on my questions didn't wait until monday when normal business hours are, and it is so damn easy to drag and drop, no HTML, no CSS, or any of that stuff. love weebly too, but just wondering when you guys are going to set up a feature where you can just copy previously created pages? I really like the sub-pages feature. It opens up lots of possibilities and makes the websites look great without getting cluttered. I've used them on my forest gardening website to organise notes on different topics. I just purchased Pro especially for feature of uploading my own videos. But I find that the quality is not what I expected since my videos are in HD. I'd rather be able to load my flickr videos who retain my HD and quality I'm looking for. I'm very disappointed. 09/23/2009 10:27am

I love weebly!! I prefer Weebly over WebStarts.com May I tell you why? For a flat fee I paid for a pro account which gives me 10 full on web sites. Having 1 free domain is something I don't care about. For the money, Weebly has the best value. It keeps adding features and continues to be easy and a joy to use. Glad i found this blog, so helpful.I actually dont usually go for sites like these, as i have my own server and run a VB, IPB,wordpress, but weebly is so good i thought id give it a try. i went pro (which is amazingly cheap)how the heck do you make money at those prices lol, and ive never looked back. 10/26/2009 9:04am
