New Feature: Customizable Polls 09/16/2009
We've just released a new customizable poll feature, in partnership with PollDaddy! You can now drag and drop a poll on your page, edit and customize it right from within the Weebly editor. Here's a sample poll: The new polling element comes jam-packed with features, and you don't even have to leave Weebly to use it! Simply drag on the "Online Poll" widget from within the "More" category, click it, and then click "Edit Poll".  From there, you can create multiple polls, set up the question you're asking, add and remove answers, and set up the poll theme. After you're done, click "Save Poll" -- the overlay window closes and you're immediately back in the Weebly editor. It's as simple as that! We've been working at a break-neck pace to keep making Weebly better and better for you. We're monitoring your feedback very closely, and developing the features you request most. Wow. That is great. I have used a polldaddy poll in my classroom website with my students, www.mrwylie.com, but it is great to have that feature built in. You know it`s kind of funny that you guys partnered with PollDaddy.com because just yesterday I was going with Micropoll.com and I looked around for a new poll maker and came across PollDaddy. My site is down. It's been on and off -mostly off - for the last 5 days and this needs to improve. I'm in a critical stage in an offline biz startup, and much of my work out in the field, meeting prospectice clients and partners, is going to waste when they can't even see that my company is "for real" by visiting the site. I'm losing serious money, and I KNOW I shouldn't expect much from a free service like this. I really like the sitebuilding tool and all the cool new features you're rolling out, but my plans to eventually become a paying weebly user are quickly being deflated by this lack of reliability. OK!!! Enough is enough!!!! I have a pro site that means I PAY FOR YOUR SERVICE!!!! Why is it that my files CAN NOT be downloaded from my site????
