8 New Themes Released! 08/27/2009
Thanks to Justin's hard work, we're happy to release 8 new themes for the Weebly community. Justin designed these themes with education, business and wedding sites in mind, but by uploading your own header images, they should look great for any type of site. As always, thanks for your support, and stay tuned for some exciting new features soon! Comments08/27/2009 4:26am
Hi Andy,

Love the new designs! It would be nice to see more with vertical menus though. The horizontal ones are very limiting when you have many pages. I LOVE the new video!!!! That makes my life SO much easier. I can't wait to play with it!!! Thanks again to the Weebly Crew!! Keep up the great work!!

I don't know why the menus had to go vertical, they seemed fine before. The pages were easier to find on my site, as they were all listed on the front, now you have to look for some of them by mousing over the more... option. Who came up with that? I linked a lot of my pages together so as not to clutter up things anyway.

Very nice! I have used one on my education blog, www.educationtechnologyblog.com

Nicccee Themes, but i agree with most people that there should be more vertical menu options as you can fit more pages in that way. I'm not sure if i'm allowed to advertise here, but please visit my website at www.obotronspawninggrounds.weebly.com as i have not had many views and/or comments! :-( :-)

I love the new drop down navigation feature! Excellent work weebly!

Well? I liked all my buttons showing in the Horizontal menu ! the "more" button is Cool,BUT! I would rather it have been offered as an option ... Older People catch on slow to the hidden links under buttons and drop down menus challenge there mousing skills !.. Other than that little request, Weebly.com it the Greatest Thing Sense Sliced Bread !!! Thank You For All Your Hard Work ! ed...

Whoever fixed my site, Weebly staff, many thanks. I didn't really need a drop-down menu anyway. Much appreciated. I like it better the way it is.

This is ridiculous, my site lay out out completely changed. I've been with weebly for 2 years and this is the 1st time I'm unhappy. I have to list most of my pages under a "more" tab (at the end). I had 2 rows of pages aprox 20 tabs now we're limited to just a few. This is a very serious change why not give the option? Or have the ability to have several drop down menus? I refuse to update my site until we get a little clarification?

Don't get me wrong I like the idea of a drop down box, but it needs to be customizable. If I could group together a few tabs and have multiple drop down menus with a titles other than "more" that would be great. When releasing new updates maybe you should give a heads up. Or better yet ask for for more input rather than just make blind changes across the board.

I was wondering when or if you all will be developing some sports themed websites?

Wondering if anyone else has mentioned trouble with the format used on my current weebly site. The actual design footprint is too short (width wise) to support a full horizontal (standard) ad banner (728 x 90). It overhangs about a quarter inch when published. Any plans to widen this template to accomodate the standard banner size? seems a shame to not be able to maximize the space by adding at least a half inch to an inch or so while keeping the exact same design concept! :) Thx! :)

I have a website for education. My school services and african-american community. I'd look stupid using white kids for a inner city school service black kids. How about a more multi racial educational banner!!!!!!!!!
