Safari/Chrome compatibility, Nabble forums, and more

I'm happy to finally announce full compatibility with Safari 3+ on Windows and Mac and Google Chrome. Although Weebly has been cross-platform since the beginning with Firefox, you can now use Weebly if your browser of choice is Safari or Google Chrome.

We've also released a new feature: Nabble forums. Under the "More" tab, you can now add forums to your site by dragging on the "Nabble forums" icon!

This release also incorporates quite a few bug fixes and small updates, while we work hard to continue making Weebly the easiest and friendliest possible way to make a website.

We also want to officially welcome Justin and Drew to the team. Justin is our in-house designer and master of slick UIs. He's working hard on making everything look good, and has designed a ton of brand new themes that we're releasing soon.

Drew is arguably the first Weebly to relocate to join us, and for that we're very grateful. He's made the move from Arizona to Sausalito, and is working on adding new features and fixing bugs. For the next couple weeks, he'll be working on a new re-design of the site, which we hope to launch soon.

All of us are working non-stop to make Weebly the best web site creation experience out there. We're listening closely to your feedback and suggestions, and are working on the top features you've requested. Thanks again for using Weebly, and be sure to let us know if there's anything we can do to make it better for you!

And another thing, I kinda agree with GR. It's alright to ask people to come to your site like i did but don't do it over and over again! And especially don't just type your websites name over and over again. It's rude! I know I don't want people to go to my site and spam my blog with their site over and over again. A blog is for friendly chat. A GUESTBOOK* is for talking about your website. Gosh people. Get it through your thick skulls!

have you completely lost it. i am a pro member with 4 websites. i ordered traffic for one of them that starts in 24 hours. i need to edit the site. currently, weebly won't even accept my login info. it keeps telling me to signup, i'm already a member.

if you are doing maintenance, pls. let people know.

i need to get logged in, asap!

Hey guys - got any tips on how I can get "found" on google a bit better with my website. I looked up Nashville Concierge and can't see me anywhere in the mix and the mix is tiny. Thanks for any ideas you got. By the way - I brag about Weebly all of the time. It's the best thing going! Kudos! MJ

Can anyone reading this please explain the whole blog feed process. I have a blog and want to do the whole feed thing but I do not know my "original feed?". I'm also trying to use feed burner but I just have no idea.

I must thank Dan at weebly for helping us at www.marbellalink.com resolve some problems so quickly this week, here in Spain in the land of mañana we are not used to such service, within minutes of sending an E-mail to weebly we had a reply so fast and everything was sorted out, muchas gracias.

Weebly is like my second home. I love how simple the drag-n-drop interface is. Your customer support is A+ on the money. I had an issue a while ago with uploading pictures, and your support team got back to me with-in 48 hours with an answer. Then you posted a blog about the same problem I had, with a solution, two days later. Above and beyond. Keep up the good work. Love live Weebly

Hi, I've noticed that a few people have been wondering how to make a chatroom on their site.

I have a chatroom on my site, and if you go to it at

beyrerboy.weebly.com

Then click the chat page, you will see a chat box. Under the box there is a link that says,

Get your own Chatbox!

Click on that link and it will take you to a website that shows you how to do it.

I had actually gotten it to work beforehand on Safari, but it was a pain in the @$$ having to constantly reload after receiving the "not supported" message. And just a thought, but some other good browsers to support would be "Shira" and "Opera", both of which are very popular.

Yes, I think Google Chrome is going to get more and more popular. It is the best browser out there technically out of the box. I love the fact that if anything crashes, only the window that crashed will close, not any of the other pages!
